CHANGE IN PLUG-IN TYPE DESIGNATION
Sometime in the next few months:
Type 60 will become
Type 63 will become Type 2A63
Type 67 will become Type 2B67
(and price increased to $175)
Type 72 will become Type 3A72
Type 75 will become Type 3A75
The primary reason for the change is to make the
type -designations consistent with the new system.
Examples: 3S76, 3T77, 3A74, 3Al, 3B1, 3B3. Ex-

cept for the 2B67, there will be no electrical differ-
enches. The 2B67 will have a one-shot sweep fea-
ture added, and its price will increase
from $160
to $175. Grey knobs instead of black knobs will be
a distinguishing mechanical difference on all of the
above.
The Flash accompanying the Product Availability
list should alert you when the old types are dropped.
The Types 50, 51, and 59 will be dropped from the
new Catalog, will not be advertised, and will keep
their old designations for the foreseeable future.

Starting with SN 432, the Type 60 plug-in was
modified to operated V434 and V444 from the reg-
ulated DC filament supply, and to delete Hum
Balance control R493.
Information concerning the modification was inad-
vertently omitted from the Type 60 Instruction

Manual until SN480, when the omission was discov-
ered and the manual corrected.
Owners of Type 60 plug-ins above SN 432 whose
manual schematics do not agreee with the instru-
ment circuitry may order updated schematics, un-
der Tek. No. 061-374. There is no charge for one
or two copies.
