Assembly & Installation – Stainless Steel Tote
ITM Series Assembly Instructions
Ensure your shipment came complete with; a Drive Segment and Agitator Segment as quoted. Note; Impellers are
secured via dimple and set screw so that you can reposition your impeller when needed. For applications which require
impellers never move we recommend permanent or semi-permanent thread lock (Loctite) be used.
Step 1.
Align shaft with bearing housing below lid. Thread bearing
housing into adapter plate threads on drum lid until tight.
This will allow bearing housing threads to protrude from top
side of the lid.
Step 3.
Slide impeller onto shaft. For dual impeller configurations
slide the upper impeller on first. These impellers use a
dimple and set-screw to secure the impeller into place. This
allows for a semi-permanent positioning, and repositioning
as needed. For permanent positioning, or to ensure the
impellers do not move, we recommend using a thread
locker like Loctite Permanent.

Step 2.
Thread Dynamic Coupling (A) male end in a clockwise
direction onto protruded threads of the bearing housing.
(See Reference 1. below.) Tighten the coupling (A) solidly
with a non-metallic hammer.
Step 4.
The drive segment is mounted onto the agitator segment
via the Dynamic Coupling. This male/female coupling
requires a slight clockwise rotation to seat and fully engage
the drive with the shaft. Your ITM is now ready to be
powered for mixing.
