Assembly & Installation – Plastic Tote
ITM Series Assembly Instructions
Ensure your shipment came complete with; Drive Segment, Locking Nut, Agitator Segment and Impeller/s as quoted.
Note; Impellers are secured via dimple and set screw so that you can reposition your impeller when needed. For
applications that require fixed impellers, we recommend permanent or semi-permanent thread lock (Loctite) be used.
Step 1.
Lower the agitator segment into the tote opening. Ensure
impellers are collapsed.
Step 3.
Lock the plate mount into the position by threading the
locking nut onto the tote neck. Attention: Ensure no part
of the impeller in settled material. The impeller must be
able to rotate and reach the required RPM in order to
perform properly.

Step 2.
Lower the agitator segment until the plate mount seats onto
the lip of the tote opening. The outside diameter of the tote
opening should not be greater than the outside diameter of
the lip of the tote neck. Attention: No part of the impeller
or shaft should touch the bottom of the tank.
Step 4.
The drive segment is mounted onto the agitator segment
via the Dynamic Coupling. This male/female coupling
requires a slight clockwise rotation to seat and fully engage
the drive with the shaft. Your ITM is now ready to be
powered for mixing.
