  • Page 4 Assigning a Device Role The W80B is shipped as a base station. Before registering a handset to the W80B, you need to switch the W80B to the DM-Base role. Then, the W80B can work as a DECT Manager and base station.

When you register an older handset to the base station, the handset firmware will be automatically upgraded to a matched one.
