(Name Function)

You can label the MDs and the tracks
you have recorded with letters, numbers
and symbols. Each label can be made up
of up to 100 characters. You can input up
to about 1,700 characters into each MD.
Labeling an MD

Insert the MD you want to label, and stop the MD
play.

Press EDIT repeatedly until "Disc Name" appears
in the display.

Press ENTER•YES.
If the disc name has been already labeled, the disc
name appears in the display.

Press DISPLAY repeatedly to select the type of
characters.
Each time you press DISPLAY, the character
changes as follows: Uppercase letters n
Lowercase letters n Numbers and symbols.
You can use the following characters:

Jog dial
