5.13. Test Mode 15: CIS Training

In case of CIS, it is required to measure and store AGC data of shading and halftone into flash memory by
this Test Mode due to no white level for scanning.
Test Mode 15 Operation
Step Operation or Unit Condition
1 Standby.
2 Set blank document with white background.
3 Press "FUNCTION".

Press "#", " ", "#", "#".
5 Press "1", "5", and "START/SET".
6 The document was scanned and displayed.
7 Press "STOP" to return to standby.
Note:
This Test Mode 15 have to operate when CIS or SC PC Board has been replaced, and also after per-
formed Test Mode 15 or Test Mode 9.
