2. Grasp the center logo to remove the front panel.
The fan assemblies will then be visible:
Note: All models of High-performance NAS Platform are equipped three fan
assemblies, and each fan assembly may contain one or two fans. There is no
difference in the removal or the installation of the two types of fan assemblies.
Assembly types should not be mixed within a server, and you should not replace one
fan assembly with an assembly containing a different number of fans unless you are
replacing all three assemblies.
3. Loosen the captive screws at the top and bottom of the module containing the
faulty fan.
4. Slide the fan assembly out of the High-performance NAS Platform.
5. Insert the replacement module. Push firmly to seat it correctly.
6. When the connector is firmly in place, secure the module with the captive screws
which were previously loosened.
7. Replace the front panel.

Rebooting or Shutting Down a Server/Cluster

The High-performance NAS Platform can be reset or shut down if a manual reboot is
necessary.
Using Web Manager, log in and select Reboot/Shutdown Server from the Server
Settings page.
