Instrument and control functions
If a problem is detected in the fuel
meter electrical circuit, all the dis-
play segments will flash repeated-
ly. Have a Yamaha dealer check
the vehicle.
NOTICE
When the fuel indicator has dropped
to only one block, refuel as soon as
possible, as the movement of fuel
when going up or downhill or when
turning may lead to the engine not

getting any fuel, resulting in engine
stop.

The running display are activated when
the vehicle move faster than 10 km/h.
Instantaneous fuel economy indica-
tor

1. Instantaneous fuel economy indicator
The instantanous fuel economy indica-
tor has eighteen segments which show
the instantaneous fuel economy (fuel
consumption) level.
The fuel economy will show blue seg-
ment (between scales 0-12) and green

segment (between scales 12-18) de-
pend on fuel are used and distance.
Multi-function display
The multi-function display has:
odometer
tripmeter
Push the "Display ON/OFF" button to
switch the display between the odom-

eter "ODO", the tripmeter "TRIP", the
instant fuel consumption "F/ECO"
(km/L or L/100 km), the average fuel
consumption "AVE F/ECO" (km/L or
L/100 km), and battery voltage "BATT"

ODO → TRIP → F/ECO → AVE F/ECO
→ BATT → Display ON/OFF → ODO
