7. TRANSPORTATION
Preferably keep the unit in the vertical position during transporta-
tion. If it is necessary to place the unit in a horizontal position for
more than 1/2 hour, ALLOW IT TO REMAIN UPRIGHT FOR 24
HOURS BEFORE OPERATION. Failure to do so may result in dam-
age to the compressor. Before transporting/moving the unit make
sure the drain tank is empty.

10. VENTING KIT ACCESSORIES
If the unit is to be used exclusively in one space, the cooling effi-
ciency will be enhanced by using the following venting kit accesso-
ries.

USING EXHAUST AND INTAKE DUCT SET (Fig. I)

Connect the duct hose adapter nozzle (I1), and duct hose grille
(I2) to 2 sides of exhaust hose (I3) to create an exhaust assembly.

Connect the duct hose adapter nozzle (I4), and duct hose grille
(I5) to 2 sides of intake hose (I6) to create an intake assembly.

NOTE:
Place the unit as close as possible to the window or
door.
USING WINDOW PANEL KIT (Fig. J)
NOTE:
Window installations are possible by the use of the duct set
and window planel kit.
1.
Insert the window panel extension (J2) to both end of window
panel (J1).
2.
Open the window and place window panels into window.
Adjusting to fix the length of window panels by using the scr-
ews and wing nuts mounted on both ends of window panel (J1).
3.
Insert the other end of exhaust and intake duct hose assembly
(with duct hose grille) onto window bracket (J1).
4.
Please allow 20 in. (50 cm) of space around the unit for proper
air circulation.
5.
When removing the portable air conditioner for storage, the
window panel may be left in place. Simply place the cover (J3)
over the hole on the window panel.
NOTE:
The same procedure can be adapted for vertical in-
stallation in sliding windows.
OPTIONAL ACCESSORIES
When you need a longer size window panel, please purchase the
extension window panel and use it with the original window panel.
