Uploading new SEC Firmware
19B
The design of the SEC includes a Digi-Connect ME (Micro Embedded) device server. The
server, a file system, and user data are maintained on a flash EPROM that is part of the device
server. From time to time, upgrades to the firmware, the manufacturer's software that
implements the device server and file system, are made available by the manufacturer (Digi
International). These upgrades typically include minor bug fixes and enhancements of features.
