Replace dust bags when they are filled. How often this occurs varies for each installation.
Regular checks are recommended.
Replace dust bags as follows:
1.
Turn vacuum cleaner off.
2.
Remove (and close) bag opening from bag holder. Pay special attention to avoid
unnecessary spillage/leakage of dust and accidental discharge of static electricity.

Attach the bag opening to the bag holder. For bulk-bags, see figure 8.

Turn on vacuum cleaner.

Clean the float ball

NOTE! To put back the float ball after cleaning, see figure 12.
If the vacuum cleaner is used for wet material, clean the float ball once a month.

Empty the pressure tank of condensation (A & A EX 3GD)
Empty condensation from the vacuum cleaner's condensed air pressure tank when its
efficiency is reduced, see figure 15(A).
1.
Turn off vacuum cleaner and disconnect compressed air hose from pressure tank.
2.
Disconnect pressure tank from vacuum cleaner, see figure 15(B).
3.
Empty pressure tank, see figure 15(C).
4.
Reconnect pressure tank.

Clean the ejector nozzle

See figure 19.
1.
Unscrew and take off the ejector lid, see figure 19(A) and 19(B).
2.
Use a pipe cleaner (Ø2.5, L=500mm) to clean the nozzle, see figure 19(C).

Put back the ejector lid.

Routine inspection and service

Follow the list below to routinely inspect, and repair or replace worn and damaged parts
on the inside and outside of the vacuum cleaner. See also Appendix: Service form. Contact
your nearest authorized distributor or Nederman for advice on technical service or if you
require help with spare parts.
Items to inspect
VACUUM OFF
Suction hoses, couplings
Gaskets
Cartridge filter
Filter bag
Remove the two earth clamps from the earth tags on the bag.
Tie off and replace bulk-bag, see figure 8.
Refit the two earth clamps onto the earth tags.
What to look for
Leaking suction hoses and couplings.
Worn out, aged and leaking gaskets.
Worn out filters.
Full or torn filter bag.
A, A EX 2GD, A EX 3GD - Vacuum Cleaners
Replace.
Replace.
Replace.
Clean or replace a full filter bag. Replace a torn
filter bag.
