Warning and Safety instructions When heating liquids, milk, sauces etc, using microwave power, the boiling point of the liquid may be reached without the production of typical bubbles. The liquid does not boil evenly throughout. This so-called 'boiling delay' can cause a sudden build-up of bubbles when the container is removed from the oven or shaken, which can lead to the liquid boiling over suddenly and explosively.

Warning and Safety instructions Food which is stored in the oven or left in it to be kept warm can dry out and the moisture released can lead to corrosion damage in the microwave oven. This can also cause damage to the control panel, worktop and surrounding kitchen furniture.

This reflected energy can, in turn, cause the outer paper covering to become so hot that it ignites.
