    Depending on the size of the used reflector, the optical data transceiver can be mounted with a minimum mounting spacing of 100 mm to the AMS 304i. The mounting spacing is independent of the distance.

All provided specifications for the AMS 304i, such as the operating range or accuracy, can only be achieved with the reflective tape specified by Leuze electronic. The reflective tapes are available as adhesive tapes, affixed to a metal plate and with an integrated heater especially for use at low temperatures.

    Attention! The reflector sizes shown below are a recommendation from Leuze electronic for on-vehicle mounting of the AMS 304i. For stationary mounting of the AMS 304i, a smaller reflector is generally sufficient for all measurement distances. On the basis of the system planning and design, always check whether mechanical travel tolerances may require the use of a reflector larger than that which is recommended.
