Mounting

Ä Mount the muting sensors (see chapter 6.2 "Arrangement of the muting sensors").
Ä Mount the muting controller (see chapter 6.1 "Mounting the muting controller").
Ä Make the electrical connection of the muting controller (see chapter 7 "Electrical connection").
NOTICE
Ä When mounting and aligning the safety sensor, observe the respective operating instruc-
tions.

Mounting the muting controller

You can mount the muting controller as follows:
• Mount in the UDC device column of the receiver of the safety sensor
• Mount on the UDC device column of the receiver of the safety sensor
• Mount on the system via M4 fastening holes
6.1.1

Mounting in the UDC device column

Mount the muting controller in the UDC device column of the receiver of the safety sensor, e.g., below the
receiver. The necessary mounting bracket is available as an accessory (see chapter 14 "Order guide and
accessories").
