2.1. This guide is meant to serve as a quick reference for operating your HYT140 Tiller it is for convenience
and the user should read the safety section first.
This HYT140 Tiller produces carbon monoxide - a poisonous, colourless & odourless gas that can cause death or
serious injury. Petrol is highly flammable, ALWAYS handle with extreme care and in a well ventilated area.
ALWAYS remove HT lead from spark plug when checking machine or changing parts.
2.2. This product comes partially assembled and is carefully packaged, it should include Main unit (with
attached cables and handlebars which are not attached to the main body), Depth (drag) bar, Two identical
spanners (13mm x 10mm), Spark plug box spanner c/w 'T' Bar, User manual, Engine manual, Quick start guide,
Warranty registration form.
2.3. At this point, check that you have all of the included items listed above. If any are missing or damaged,
call 01646 687 880 or email info@hyundaipowerequipment.co.uk.
2.4. Assembly.
The handlebar is not fitted to the main body of the machine but the throttle and clutch cables are connected.
Open the box and get assistance to lift the machine clear. Keep the box and all packaging for future use.
Viewed from the rear the clutch handlebar is mounted on the Left of the machine and the throttle handlebar is on
the Right. Undo and keep safe the six nuts, bolts and washers on the machines support bracket. Before offering up
the handlebars to the support bracket it is necessary for you to fit both bars through the handlebar spacer
