Internal Options
Internal options are parts installed inside the system
unit. Some of the internal options available for your
system are listed below.
• Memory expansion options
• Display adapters
• Diskette drives
• Printer or communication adapters.
Some options do not include installation instructions for
your IBM Personal Computer XT Model 286. You
will find these options Hsted on the Contents page of
this section. If you are installing one of these options,
use the instructions in this section. If the option you
are installing is not listed on the Contents page, use the
instructions enclosed with that option. Some of the
option's illustrations may differ sUghtly from your
system.
Before you begin installing any internal options, remove
the cover using the procedure in this section.
