Setup Program
You need to run the Setup program on the Diagnostics
diskette to set the date, time, and store information

about some installed options. A battery keeps a small
'
portion of memory active to retain this data even when
the power is off. Run the Setup program when you:
• Install your system unit for the first time
• Install certain options
•
Wish to set date and time
• Wish to set the display mode
• Replace the battery.

To set the system options you must know which options
are installed. These options are listed on the "Setup
Information" foldout in this manual.

Turn off the system unit.
2 Turn off all external options (printer, display and
others).
Get the Diagnostics diskette located at the back
of this manual.
