Insert the center connector of the power-split
cable into the cable coming from the power
supply (disconnected in the previous step).
Carefully insert the other wide connector into
your fixed disk drive as shown.

In Step 10 you will install the External Diskette
Adapter in expansion slot 5. If a card is in this
slot, move it to another unused slot in your unit.
If slot 5 is empty, remove the screw that holds
the expansion slot cover. Save the screw for the
installation of the adapter. Discard the
expansion slot cover.
