This section describes how to use the serial daughter card using code examples. It also describes the

basic MODBUS RTU functionality over serial and leverages Libmobus, a common Open Source Library,

to help in understanding the fundamental methods. The code examples used in this chapter are tested on

CentOS 7.5.
