To use a Belling D841 oven:

1. Make sure all oven controls are in the off position before starting.
2. Allow the oven to cool before touching heating elements or cleaning.
3. Do not use the oven to heat a room.
4. Do not drape tea towels over vents or doors.

For using the hob:
1. Push in and turn the selected control knob anticlockwise to ‘full on’.
2. Press the ignition switch or use a lighted match/taper to light the burner.
3. Adjust the flame so it does not extend over the pan base.
4. Use flat-bottomed pans with base diameters between 100 mm and 250 mm.
5. Position pans in the center of the burners and avoid unstable or misshapen pans.
