8. Complete the Installation
• Place the top trim onto the downdraft unit.
• Push the power button on the top trim, the downdraft unit will rise. (The blower will begin to vent immediately if
the blower control slider is set to an 'On' position).
• Remove the labels, screw and brackets as shown in Fig.22. These brackets are used to hold the grease filter
microswitches in place during transportation. They are located at the top of the downdraft unit in the
center behind each grease filter.
• Connect the top trim to the downdraft unit by threading the 9/32" (7 mm) nuts onto the top trim screws Fig.23.
• Install the grease filters Fig.24.
• Check the blower operation. If the blower does not work refer to the 'Troubleshooting' section.
