Using the Bar Code Test Function

This section explains how to use the Bar Code Test
function. Once you understand this section, go to the
next section to test your bar code reader.
1.
Load a stack of bar code diagnostic forms in the
input tray.
2.
Position the bar code reader on one of the
positions on the form.
3.
Hold down (at the same time) the left and right
buttons found under the display panel for about
five seconds to enter the background menu. When
the Background Menu message appears briefly,
release the buttons.
4.
Press the Next button five times or until you see
the following menu item.
5.
Press Enter to enter the diagnostics menu.
