Changing The Door Hinging - Miele KFN 29683 D obsw Operating And Installation Instruction

The appliance is supplied right-hand
hinged. If left-hand hinging is required,
the hinges must be changed.

Disconnect the appliance from
the power supply before changing
the door hinging!

Two people are needed for

changing the door hinging.


If a door seal is damaged or if it
has come out of the groove, the door
will not close properly and cooling
performance will be reduced.
Condensate will build up in the
interior and this can cause a build-up
of ice.
Do not damage the door seals and
ensure that they do not come out of
their groove.
Preparation
To change the door hinging, you will
need the following tools:
 Place a suitable cover on the floor in
front of the appliance to protect the
appliance doors and your floor from
damage.
 Remove the shelves/bottle shelf from
the appliance door.
Changing the door hinging
Removing the top covers
 Open the upper appliance door.
 Push off right outer cover .
 Remove cover  from the door hinge
and cover  from the soft-close
mechanism.
