Problem
The "" symbol flashes
and "" flashes
alternately with "" in
the numerical keybank
for the ExtraSpeed
cooking zone.
The sensors show
increased sensitivity or
fail to react.
Cause and remedy
Pan protection has been triggered.
 Select a power level in order to use the cooking
zone.
The sensitivity level of the sensors has changed.
 Make sure that there is no direct light (from the sun
or from an artificial source) falling onto the hob.
The area surrounding the hob must not be too
dark.
 Make sure that there is nothing covering the
sensors or the hob.
Take any pans off the hob and wipe away any food
deposits.
 Interrupt the power supply to the hob for approx.
1 minute.
 If the problem persists after power has been
restored, please contact Miele.
