VII. Suggested End-User Customer Service Offerings
A. End-User Limited Warranty Conditions
Six (6) months after date of installation at the customer site.
This warranty covers the BLM300C Booklet Maker and the optional modules.
B. Parts Support Program
The Parts Support Program is designed to help reduce your service costs for
the BLM300C Booklet Maker and optional modules. By participating in the
Parts Support Program your dealership will not be required to stock expensive
parts.
Canon USA will provide replacement parts at no-charge for the BLM300C
Booklet Maker and optional modules on an exchange basis for a period of six
(6) months. To obtain parts under the Parts Support program, follow these
steps:
Contact the Technical Support Center at 800-528-2830 to report the incident
and get technical assistance. If the problem cannot be resolved over the phone,
the technical support specialist will assign a "ticket" number to the case. You
will need to reference this ticket number when completing the Part Order Form.
Go to the
Center click on the Info Center link, and locate the Part Order Form under the
Parts Support Information.
Complete the BLM300C Booklet Maker Part Order Form and fax it to the
Warranty Control Section at (631) 330-5761.
Once the order form is received and verified, the Warranty Control Section will
ship the replacement part. The original order form or packaging slip from the
parts center must accompany the return of the defective part. The defective
part must be returned within ten (10) business days otherwise your dealership
will be charged (dealer cost) for the part.
For out of warranty repairs on circuit boards, please contact the Warranty
Control Section at (631) 330-6246.
As indicated on the part order form, the Parts Support Program includes
standard shipping at no cost to the dealership. If you request an upgrade in
your delivery service, your dealership will be charged for the freight charges.
