Identifying parts and controls
To prepare the Remote Commander
Insert two R6 (size AA) batteries by matching the
+ and – on the batteries to the + and – in the
battery compartment.
Notes on the Remote Commander
•Point the remote sensor away from strong light
sources such as direct sunlight or overhead
lighting. Otherwise, the Remote Commander
may not function properly.
•Attaching the lens hood (supplied) or a
conversion lens (optional) may obstruct the
remote sensor, and in this situation, the remote
commander may not work correctly.
•Your camcorder works in the commander mode
VTR 2. Commander modes 1, 2 and 3 are used
to distinguish your camcorder from other Sony
VCRs to avoid erroneous remote control
operation. If you use another Sony VCR in the
commander mode VTR 2, we recommend
changing the Commander mode or covering
the sensor of the VCR with black paper.

•Le caméscope utilise le mode de télécommande
VTR 2. Les modes de télécommande 1, 2 et 3
permettent de distinguer le caméscope d'autres
magnétoscopes Sony et d'éviter les
interférences de télécommande. Si vous utilisez
un autre magnétoscope Sony avec le mode de
télécommande VTR 2, il est préférable de
changer le mode de télécommande ou de
masquer le capteur infrarouge du
magnétoscope avec du papier noir.
