11-minute descaling phase: The un-calibrated appliance is heated to
194°F (90°C); the calibrated appliance, 203°F (95°C).
Rinse and refill with fresh water.
10-minute calibration phase: The boiling temperature is adjusted for the
altitude of the location.

F05 - Short Circuit in PT 1000 Temperature Sensor
Cause:
PT 1000 temperature sensor (R30) or connector short-circuited.
Remedy:
Replace the temperature sensor. See Section 030-4.1.

F06 - Open Circuit in PT 1000 Temperature Sensor
Cause:
PT 1000 temperature sensor (R30) or connector open-circuited.
Remedy:
Replace the temperature sensor. See Section 030-4.1.
Cause:
Electronic not plugged in or poor plug contact.
Remedy:
1. Check plug for correct position and contact.
2. Insert plug properly.
3. If plug is defective, replace the temperature sensor. See Section 030-4.1.

F20 - Heating Fault
Symptom:
Fault code F20 shows up if no temperature increase is registered within 5
minutes. If the appliance is in a preheated state, this time is reduced to 3
minutes. After a new start, fault code F20 no longer shows up. It only appears
again if a new fault occurs.
