Function
2.1
Floor Heater Element
The floor heater element is located in the center of the oven cavity floor, and
prevents water from condensing and accumulating at the bottom of the oven cavity.
2.2
PT 1000 Temperature Sensor (R30 or R30/10)
The PT 1000 temperature sensor is a printed circuit board (PCB) which is
used to provide the electronic with data to calculate the oven cavity
temperature. The sensor's resistance increases as the temperature
increases. Details are listed in Table 030-2.

Service
4.1
PT 1000 Temperature Sensor (R30 or R30/10) Removal
1. Take the steam generator and equipment out of the oven cavity.
2. Uninstall the appliance. See Section 010-4.1.
3. Remove the side panels. See Section 010-4.2.
4. Remove the rear panel. See Section 010-4.3.
5. Slide or move insulation as necessary.
6. DG 4080: Disconnect the temperature sensor (Figure 030-1, Item 1) from
the power electronic. Take off the retaining clip (030-Figure 1, Item 2).
