Proper use

The device is designed for dry grinding of flat and
curved surfaces, wood/timber, plastics, non-ferrous
metals, sheet steel and similar filled and lacquered
surfaces using genuine Würth system equipment.
Any other use is considered improper use.
The user is liable for damage resulting
from improper use.
Taking into service / operation
Observe mains voltage
Before starting the device, ensure that
the mains voltage and frequency cor-
respond to the values for voltage and
frequency specified on the type plate.
Attach handle
Screw the handle [1] to the device using the
knurled screw [2].
Turn the knurled screw [2] to the left or to
the right in order to loosen or to tighten it. If
required, us a crosstip screwdriver and insert it
into the hole at one end of the handle in order
to tighten or loosen the knurled screw.

Attaching an abrasive sheet (fig. II)
The device is equipped with a quick exchange sys-
tem (velcro fastening). Abrasive sheets can therefore
be replaced quickly without any additional tools.
Abrasive sheet with velcro fastening:
Remove all dirt and dust from the grinding plate [8].
Press the abrasive sheet [9] against the grinding
plate so that the holes of the abrasive sheet [9]
and the holes of the grinding plate [8] are on
top of each other.
Abrasive sheet without velcro fastening:
Fix the abrasive sheet [9] using a clamp ele-
ment [7].
Pull the abrasive sheet [9] firmly across the
grinding plate [8].
Fix the abrasive sheet [9] using the other clamp
element [7].
Switching On/Off (fig. I)
Press the On/Off switch [6].
In order to switch on the device permanently,
lock the On/Off switch [6] using the lock
switch [4].
Setting the orbital stroke rate
Set the orbital stroke rate using the setting
wheel 3].
