Problem
The ignitor on the
burner does not spark.

Cause and remedy
The mains fuse has tripped.
 You may need to contact a registered electrical
worker or Miele.
There is food residue stuck between the ignitor and
the burner cap.
There is food residue on the thermocouple.
 Remove any soiling (See "Cleaning and care").
