Grounding

The site and site equipment must meet the following grounding
requirements.
• An insulated grounding conductor that is identical in size and insulation
• The grounding conductor described above should be connected to earth
• The receptacles in the vicinity of the unit or system must include a ground

Power connection

The AC power input for the storage system has a duplex PDU structure that
allows the rack-installed equipment to remain powered on if power is
removed from one of the two power distribution panels.

Note: Site power can be connected to the PDUs at either the top or bottom
of the racks.
PDU plugs, circuit breakers, and receptacles
The PDU plugs must be appropriate for the power sources at the installation
sites. The table below lists the plugs on the end of the PDU power cords. The
power distribution panel at the installation site must have receptacles that
match these plugs.

must be installed as a part of the branch circuit that supplies the unit or
system.
