Connection to a window
contact switch if required
The window contact switch is
live!
Danger of electrical shock!
Disconnect the hob from the mains
electricity supply before connecting
the switching mechanism.
The switching mechanism must only
be connected by a suitably qualified
person.
The switching mechanism
connection cable must be type
H03VV-F 2x0.75 mm
exceed 2.0 m in length.
The switching mechanism must be
equipped with a potential free shut-
off contact suitable for 230 V, 1A.
When open the cooker hood is off.
Only use DIBt permitted and tested
wireless switching mechanisms (e.g.
window contact switches,
underpressure monitors) which have
been approved for use by an
authorised person.
You will need the relevant documents
supplied with the external switching
mechanism to ensure its safe
connection and operation.

Undo the screw on the cable strain
relief and undo the casing on both
sides .
Open the casing.
Remove the stopper.
