WARNING!
Risk of explosion and fire!
Fuel may leak out if you transport the lawn mower with a filled fuel tank.
This could cause an explosion or a fire.
− Use a petrol suction pump to completely remove fuel from the lawn mower's
fuel tank before transporting the lawn mower.
− Make sure the lawn mower is secured when transporting it in a vehicle to prevent
it from slipping, vibrating or hitting things.

Troubleshooting

Problem
The lawn mower
vibrates heavily
when used.
The motor won't
start.
The motor does not
run smoothly.

Cause
One or more screws
has come loose.
The cutting blade's
fixing screw has come
loose.
The cutting blade ro-
tates unevenly.
The bail control arm is
not fully pulled against
the upper handle's
handlebar.
The spark plug is
defective.
There is no fuel in the
tank.
There is too much fuel
in the combustion
chamber.
The air filter is dirty.
The spark plug is dirty.
Solution
Make sure that all screw connec-
tions are secure. If necessary,
retighten the screws.
Check the cutting blade's fixing
screw. Retighten it if necessary.
Have a qualified professional check
the cutting blade and replace it if
necessary.
Pull the bail control arm against
the upper handle's handlebar and
hold it there.
Replace the spark plug.
Add fuel to the tank (see chapter
"Adding fuel").
Dry the spark plug (see chapter
"Procedure for excess fuel in the
combustion chamber").
Clean the air filter.
Clean the spark plug.
