Using the wheel drive

The lawn mower is equipped with wheel drive that facilitates the work of the
operator.
− While the motor is running, slowly pull the gear selector arm
handle's handlebar
The lawn mower will start to move.
− Release the gear selector arm to turn off the wheel drive.
− Always turn the wheel drive off when turning the lawn mower and using it on
slopes or very uneven terrain.

Mowing grass

− Stand behind the upper handle's handlebar
in the chapter "Starting the motor" (see Fig. A).
− If necessary, pull the gear selector arm
hold it in position to use the wheel drive (see chapter "Using the wheel drive").
− Slowly and steadily push the lawn mower (walking speed).
− Push the lawn mower in as straight a line as possible over the area to be mowed.
− Let the edges of individual lines (tracks) overlap slightly by a few centimetres in
order to achieve uniform cutting results.
− The best results are achieved when the grass to be mowed is dry. Damp grass can
cause the cutting blade or grass catcher bag to become clogged or stuck.
− Please note that the wind and sun can dry out the lawn after mowing. It is there-
fore best to mow during the late afternoon.
− Cut the grass blades by a maximum of half of their length.
− In order not to damage the lawn or overload the lawn mower by cutting long, tall
grass, gradually start cutting taller grass to the length you want.
− If the lawn mower is not properly picking up mown grass and putting it in the
grass catcher bag, the grass discharger may be clogged, the grass catcher bag
may be full, or the underside of the mower may be clogged.
