Proper use

The lawn mower is designed exclusively for mowing lawns in domestic gardens and allot-
ment gardens. It is only intended for private use and is not suitable for commercial use.
Any other application is expressly prohibited and deemed improper use.
Neither the manufacturer nor the retailer can accept responsibility of any kind for in-
jury, loss or damage caused by misuse of this product. Examples of misuse are given
in the following non-exhaustive list:
• Using the lawn mower for other than the intended purposes;
• Failure to observe the safety notes and warnings as well as the assembly, operat-
ing, maintenance and cleaning instructions contained in this user manual;
• Non-observance of any specific and/or general applicable health, safety and
accident prevention regulations concerning the use of this lawn mower.
• Use of accessories and spare parts not intended for the lawn mower;
• Changes to the lawn mower;
• Lawn mower repairs performed by parties other than the manufacturer or a
qualified professional;
• Use of the lawn mower for commercial, trade or industrial applications;
• Operation or maintenance of the lawn mower performed by persons who do not
know how to use the lawn mower and have not been warned of possible risks of use.

Residual risks

Despite proper use, inconspicuous residual risks cannot be completely ruled out.
The following risks may arise due to the nature of the lawn mower:
• Touching the cutting blade (cutting injury);
• Discharging of objects (e.g. stones).

Safety and maintenance guidelines

The following safety and maintenance guidelines apply to the lawn mower.
Never operate the lawn mower if safety and protective equipment is damaged or missing.
• Bail control arm:
The lawn mower is equipped with a bail control arm that stops the lawn mower
when released.
• Flap:
The lawn mower is equipped with a flap that prevents grass and other objects
from being discharged when the grass catcher bag is removed.
