2.5.1.5 Walk-Test (

)
The Walk Test function is used to check the radio transmission range and strength of your accessories. Before
installing each device, we recommend using this function to make sure the device signal can be received by
the
panel
from the desired installation location.
Step 1
Click the
icon at
the
top right to enter Walk Test
mode.
Step 2
Press the accessory test button to transmit the test signal (refer to accessory QSG to locate the test button).
The panel will emit a notification sound whenever it receives the accessory signal. The page will be updated
with the accessory information and the RSSI value indicating the received signal strength.
The signal strength range goes from 9 (excellent) to 1 (very poor). Make sure the signal strength is at least 5.
A signal strength of 6 or higher is recommended. If no signal is received or below 5, please choose a different
mounting location and run the test again.
With the IP camera, the signal is transmitted automatically upon entering Walk Test and
does not require to
press any button.
IP Camera will be displayed always
like
0.
