10 Press Enter, then Yes to save the configuration.
11 Press any key to revert to the Configuration menu.
To initialize a RAID volume:

Access the Management menu.

On the Management menu, select Initialize.
Under Logical Drives, the created logical drives is listed.

Use the space bar to select drives to initialize.
Under Logical Drives, the selected drive is highlighted in yellow.

After selecting the drives, press F10, then select Yes to initialize
the logical drives.

After the initialization is completed, press Esc.

Press Esc again to revert to the Management menu.

Select Exit, then Yes.

Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to reboot the system.
To assign a hot spare disk:
1
Access the Management menu.

On the Management menu, select Objects.

On the Objects menu, select Physical Drive.

Under the Physical Drive, select a free disk that is marked as
READY, then press Enter.

Select Make Hot Spare, then press Enter.

Select Yes.
Under Physical Drive, the assigned hot spare disk is marked as
HOTSP.

Press Esc to revert to the Management menu.

Select Yes.
9
Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to reboot the system.
Proceed to the installation of the operating system. Refer to the
user documentation that came with your OS for related
instructions.
