Boiler putting out when stoking.
Boiler has to be stopped for service maintenance or stoking brake by stopping burner operation.
Emergency extinguishing out.
Operating personnel has to stop the boiler immediately in the case of triggered emergency alarm or
noticing the following emergency situations as it is provided for in the valid legislation of the country where
the boiler is operated:
•
If pressure rises above the permissible level by more than 10 % and the measures taken (draught and
blow reduction, deaeration) cannot stop its rising.
•
If all water pressure measurement devices and half (50 %) of protection valves are out of operation.
•
In the case of unacceptable water pressure loss in the boiler circuit.
•
If splits, tears or bumps, leaking welds are found in the main assemblies of the boiler (boiler drum,
combustion chamber, water-cooled parts).
•
In the case of essential changes in the boiler operation or damages which are dangerous for further
boiler operation or operating personnel (vibration, knocks inside the boiler, noise, exhaust gas
explosions in the pipeline, damaged fittings, pipes, etc.).
•
In the case of sooth and fuel particle combustion in the smoke exhaust pipes.
•
In the case of voltage loss in all measurement devices, remote and automatic control devices.
•
Emergency stopping shall be carried out in accordance with installed burner service manual.
Emergency putting off has to be immediately communicated to the specialists and managers responsible
for boiler house operation.
Boiler can be started again only after elimination of fault and finding out its reasons.
Boiler can be repaired only after having stopped fuel supply, put off the boiler, disconnected electric
power and reduced water pressure in the boiler down to zero.
Works on the boiler can be carried out only when the boiler has sufficiently cooled down (no more than
33 C). Before starting the work, ventilate inside of the boiler for 15 minutes with air by means of fan.
Before carrying out boiler welding tasks, ventilate combustible and explosive gases from the boiler
premises.
