5. Boiler installation
Installation and operation of the boiler is only allowed if observing the requirements for steam and water
heating boiler installation and safe operation rules, other legal acts and equipment operation documents valid
in the country of installation
Perform boiler unloading from vehicle and bringing into boiler house premises as shown in clause 7
"Transportation and Storage".
Put the boiler in the intended place on even non-combustible floor capable to withstand safe boiler
operation.
In the boilers Kalvis-300MG ... -500MG, burner UNI-MAX 300 kW ... 500 kW is mounted on rails in front of
hearth door (see fig. 3).
Distances from partitions are given in the boiler house project. For maintenance of turbulizers and ash
removal auger (extraction) leave a sufficient distance in front of the boiler. Leave sufficient distance from the
front to be able to take out ash removal auger from the boiler and from selected side, for ash box removal and
bringing out of the premises; also from the side in order to open hearth door with burner installed as well as
sufficient space in the premises to place fuel container. Minimum boiler placement measurements in the boiler
house are given on fig. 4.
Ash container shall be put on the side of the boiler convenient for maintenance, ash removal conveyor is
inserted into the duct for ash falling from the boiler and tightly fastened to the flue pipe by the chain
(see fig. 2).
