Name tags

Applies to vehicles: with telephone voice operation
Introduction
Name tags are stored in the telephone voice operation
phone book.
General information
The telephone voice operation phone book contains 50 memory
locations. You can use it independently of the cell phone. The
entries are stored in the telephone voice operation phone book.
In the telephone voice operation phone book, you can store spoken
names for entries in the cell phone package phone book. You can
also store spoken names with their corresponding spoken phone
numbers, regardless of the phone book entries in the cell phone
package ⇒ page 61.
If you have stored name tags in the telephone voice operation
phone book, they can be dialed by voice operation.
Entry
You should choose the spoken names so that they can be clearly
recognized by the telephone voice operation.
When entering phone numbers, the numbers ZERO to NINE are
recognized. Enter the telephone numbers as a continuous string of
numbers (complete telephone number), as a sequence of numbers
(separated by short pauses) or by numbers spoken individually.
After each sequence of numbers (separated by a short pause in
speech), the numbers recognized are repeated by the system. The
system does not recognize combinations of numbers, for example,
twenty three, only numbers spoken individually (TWO, THREE).
When TWO is spoken, it is easier for the system to recognize the
number.
If more than 20 numbers are entered, the system responds with
<The number is too long>. A Plus (+) can also be placed in front of
the 20 digits.
