Selecting a track
Requirement: A list with tracks ⇒ page 52,

– Roll the left thumbwheel ⇒ page 50, fig. 57 to a track.
– To select the track, press the left thumbwheel.
Tips
A drive is selected using the radio system ⇒ page 33.

Stopping/resuming a drive
Requirement: A track is playing ⇒ page 28.
– To pause the track, rotate the right thumbwheel all the
way to the bottom.
– To continue track playback, rotate the right thumbwheel
upwards.

Introduction
Calling in the vehicle has become an everyday activity. You can
operate all of the relevant telephone functions safely and easily
using the multifunction steering wheel.
The following messages could appear in the driver information
system:
Multifunction steering wheel
Please wait... The connection from cell phone to vehicle is
being established.
Please The SIM card is not in the cell phone.
insert
SIM card.
The PIN has not been entered yet ⇒ page 43.
Please
enter
the PIN.
Tel. call An external call is being received. If the
name/telephone number of the caller is sent, it
will also be displayed.
Busy The selected number is busy.
Phone is The telephone is switched off.

Connecting... The connection is being established.
No entries The phone book does not contain any entries or
available. the phone book entries have not yet been read
into the cell phone package* ⇒ page 42.
Phone not The telephone is not connected with the vehi-

plugged in. adapter or establish a Bluetooth connection.

The basic telephone functions are available on the multifunction
