2.4 Commissioning and Maintenance Tools

SHC1 Handheld Interrogator
The SHC1 Handheld Interrogator is a commissioning and maintenance tool which communicates with
Searchpoint Optima Plus. It can be connected directly to a DVC100 series termination unit (non-intrusive),
or used with other types of junction box provided the SHC Protection Device is used (hot work permit
required).

Searchpoint Optima Plus has a range of weather protection accessories designed to protect the optical
surfaces from environmental conditions without compromising performance. Please contact Honeywell
Analytics to discuss the most suitable weather protection for a particular application.
As standard, Searchpoint Optima Plus is supplied with Standard Weather Protection, Dust Barrier and
Sunshade / Deluge Protection.
