2.3 Termination unit options

There are several termination unit options for Searchpoint Optima Plus, depending on the certification
required, whether digital communications will be used and additional features such as a local display.
HALO Junction Box*
• ATEX, IECEx approvals
• Ex e enclosure
• One M25 and three M20 cable entries
• Visual status indication (Normal, Warning, Fault, Alarm, Inhibit)
• Non-intrusive connection for HART
XNX Universal Transmitter
• ATEX, IECEx, UL, CSA approvals
• Five ¾ NPT or M25 cable entries
• Local display
• Non-intrusive access using magnetic switches
• HART communications

• Modbus communications (optional)
• Relays (optional)
DVC 100 Series Termination Unit
• ATEX, IECEx approvals
• Ex e enclosure
• One M25 and two M20 cable entries
• Non-intrusive connection for SHC1 Handheld Interrogator
• Modbus communications (optional)
Honeywell Analytics Junction Box
• ATEX, IECEx approvals
• Ex e enclosure
• One M25 and three M20 cable entries
• SHC1 Handheld Interrogator connection using SHC Protection Device (intrusive)
UL/CSA Aluminium Junction Box
• UL, CSA approvals
• Two ¾ NPT cable entries
• SHC1 Handheld Interrogator connection using SHC Protection Device (intrusive)
