Replacing the Motor Brush

1. Use a #2 phillips screwdriver to
remove the screws securing the motor
shroud to the frame.
2. Use a flathead screwdriver to gently
pry the brush cover off of the motor.
3. Disconnect the connector tab within
the motor, push down on the small
metal spring tab to release the brush
from the brush housing, then remove
the brush.
4. Install a new brush, connect the
connector tab, then reinstall the
spring tab to lock the brush in place.
Finally, replace the brush cover.
5. Repeat steps for the 2nd brush.
