Our lab testing with the Micro 10 meter has shown that zeroing and measuring of the sample normally does not require any cell cover for accurate results, except in sunlight. To obtain optimal accuracy when testing with the meter outdoors (sunlight), use the Mixing Cap/Cell Cover when zeroing and reading the sample.
