3. General characteristic of static verticalizer PARAPION Static verticalizer PARAPION is intend for passive rehabilitation of disabled people with paresis of lower limbs. The device permits disabled person to stand independently and safely (although under supervision) or with others' help and do simple activities of everyday life in straight erect position. - Page 7 5. 3. The device should not be pulled on, jerked or turned over especially if the patient stands in it. 4. 8. Patient's preparation Before any action with the verticalizer every patient is obliged to comply with the following recommendations: 1. Footwear should be comfortable, highly-laced and should stabilize ankle. It is recommended to use orthopeadic footwear. 2. Clothes should be casual and convenient, airy, not limiting movements; sport wear (for physical exercises) is the best one. - Page 13 (additionally) a possibility of adjustment feet stabilizer's platform (up ń down and front - back). In size 2 and 3 of the verticalizer PARAPION the above-mentioned regulation is not a standard option but can be ordered as additional accessory.
- Page 14 To facilitate such activities we have installed a table with regulation of height. Surely it will be useful to put a book, a cup or laptop on it. After practicing in verticalizer PARAPION patient must return safely on wheelchair, chair, armchair, bed etc. Patient cannot leave verticalizer independently.
