D8XCel and D16XCel have an extensive library of text descriptions used in sMs
messaging, and also give the user the ability to customise the text output to suit individual
needs.
For example, the default text sent for a zone alarm is:
ness security report
from loCaTIon
alarM Zone 3 area 1

XCel allows most words in this message to be modified.
Let's say you want to customise the panel's name and rename zone 3.
The panel name is set by the text output named LOCATION and the zone name by the text
Zone 3. (see the table, page 24).
To rename loCaTIon and Zone 3:
sMs senT To THe Panel
T123e,loCaTIon, MyHoMe,
Zone 3, Z3 rUMPUs
sMs alarm reports will then appear as:
ness seCUrITy rePorT
from MyHoMe
alarM Z3 rUMPUs area 1

Using the same method every word and phrase in the sMs message can be renamed.
