Preparatory work
- Drain the coolant. (r p. 202)
- Raise the motorcycle with the
lift
stand.

Main work
- Remove screw with the washer.
- Remove cable binder
- Take off the frame protector.
- Remove cable binder
- Remove screw with the washer.
- Remove cable binder
- Take off the frame protector.
- Remove screw
- Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.
- Loosen hose clamp
- Remove screw
- Swing back the shock absorber.
