  • Page 4 NOTES FOR CMOS DEVICES (1) VOLTAGE APPLICATION WAVEFORM AT INPUT PIN: Waveform distortion due to input noise or a reflected wave may cause malfunction. If the input of the CMOS device stays in the area between VIL (MAX) and VIH (MIN) due to noise, etc., the device may malfunction. Take care to prevent chattering noise from entering the device when the input level is fixed, and also in the transition period when the input level passes through the area between VIL (MAX) and VIH (MIN).

The RL78/G1D manual is separated into two parts: the hardware edition and the software edition (common to the RL78 family).     RL78/G1D Module (RY7011) CHAPTER 3 FLASH MEMORY CHAPTER 3 FLASH MEMORY The RL78 microcontroller incorporates the flash memory to which a program can be written, erased, and rewritten. The flash memory includes the “code flash memory”, in which programs can be executed, and the “data flash memory”, an area for storing data.

The code flash memory can be rewritten to through serial programming using a flash memory programmer or an external device (UART communication), or through self-programming.
