Parameter Setting Mode

Channel Step setting

This is to select the channel step to be used in the VFO mode.
Refer to the chart below for the relation of the actual step
frequency and how it is displayed.
STEP 5
(5 kHz)
STEP 100
(100 kHz)
NOTE:
The default is as follows.
• DR-620E [STEP 12.5]
• DR-620T [STEP 5]

Scan Type

This is to select the scan resume condition. TIMER setting
allows the radio to resume scanning after 5 seconds, regard-
less of the signal receiving status. BUSY setting resumes scan-
ning when the received signal is gone. The scan mode is ex-
plained later.

Beep Sound

This is to change the volume of a beep sound during operation.
1.
[BEEP2] icon appears on the display.
2.
By rotating the dial, the display will change as
below and the volume of a beep sound will be
changed.
